US cash prices vs. Colombia — side by side

Your whole smile, rebuilt. Beautifully. For less than half.

You already know what you want: everything fixed, once, properly. This site does one job — it shows you what full mouth restoration actually costs a cash-pay patient in the US, what the same work typically costs in Colombia, and what the difference buys back for your life.

Kintsugi — the Japanese art of rebuilding broken porcelain with gold, so the restored piece is worth more than the original. We think about teeth the same way.

The comparison

The same rebuild. Two very different invoices.

In the US, a full mouth restoration is priced like a luxury few can justify. In Colombia, it's priced like the routine, high-volume specialty work it is. Here's the whole picture in one table — no asterisks hiding the crown, the abutment, or the lab work.

All figures are typical 2026 ranges, not quotes. US figures reflect what cash-pay/self-pay patients actually pay (sourced from published surgery-center prices, ASPS/ADA-aligned surveys, and cost aggregators), not insurer-negotiated rates. Your treatment plan — bone grafting, extractions, materials — moves the number.

Where the money actually goes

US cash-pay range vs. Colombia typical range — the four restorations people travel for most. Typical 2026 ranges, not quotes.

Why the honest range is wide: your final number depends on things a website can't see — how many extractions you need, whether bone grafting or a sinus lift is involved, and whether you choose acrylic, hybrid, or full zirconia. Anyone who quotes you a single flat price before seeing a CT scan is guessing. We'll tell you what moves your number and by how much.

Most people arrive here already knowing roughly which one they need. Each page below breaks down the procedure, the real US cash price, the Colombia price, the timeline, and who it fits.

Why Colombia

Not cheap. Priced honestly.

Colombia's healthcare system was ranked #1 in the Western Hemisphere by the World Health Organization — ahead of the US and Canada — in the WHO's 2000 global report. Bogotá and Medellín run high-volume specialty dental centers where full-arch cases are Tuesday, not a special event.

  • Prosthodontists and implant surgeons whose credentials you can verify yourself through ReTHUS, Colombia's national health-professional registry.
  • The same implant systems used in the US — Straumann, Nobel Biocare, MIS — at Colombian operating costs.
  • In-house digital labs: CT scan, design, milling, and placement under one roof, which is how the timeline gets short and the price stays down.
  • A 3–6 hour flight from most US hubs. Same time zone as the East Coast.
How this site works

One patient's math

Full mouth implants, both arches, mid-range case. Typical 2026 ranges, not quotes.

Colombia bar includes a realistic travel budget: two trips, flights and 10–14 hotel nights each. Even fully loaded, the gap typically stays north of $20,000.

How it goes

Four steps. Two trips. One finished smile.

Tell us the goal

Send the form or a WhatsApp message. Recent X-rays or a CT help, but "I want everything handled" is a perfectly good starting point.

Get real numbers

We connect you with vetted Colombian clinics who review your case and price your actual treatment plan — itemized, in writing, in English.

Trip one: surgery

Extractions, grafting if needed, implant placement, and provisional teeth — you fly home with a full, functional smile while implants integrate for 3–6 months.

Trip two: the finish

Your permanent zirconia or hybrid bridge is fitted, adjusted, and polished. This is the smile that stays.

Some crown-and-veneer cases finish in a single 7–10 day trip. Implant cases almost always need two — anyone promising permanent full-arch teeth in one short visit is skipping the healing biology, and that's a corner you don't want cut.

Fair questions

Asked constantly. Answered straight.

It's been years since I sat in a dental chair. Is that a problem?
It's the norm, not the exception — most people who get full mouth restorations have been away from dentistry for a long time, usually for completely understandable reasons: cost, bad past experiences, life. Colombian full-arch specialists see this every single day. The consultation starts with a scan and a plan, not a lecture. Nobody here is interested in how you got to this point — only in where you're going.
Is the quality really the same as the US?
The materials frequently are the same — the major implant brands and zirconia systems are global. What you should verify is the person and the facility: check your surgeon in ReTHUS (Colombia's official registry of licensed health professionals), ask how many full-arch cases the clinic completes per month, and ask to see their lab. Good clinics answer these questions happily; that willingness is itself the signal.
Why is it so much cheaper? What's the catch?
No catch — different economics. Colombian clinics pay Colombian rents, salaries, lab costs, and insurance, and the strong dollar amplifies the gap. US dental pricing also carries heavy overhead and, frankly, whatever the local market will bear. You're not buying a discount product; you're buying the same product in a different economy.
What if I need bone grafting?
Many full-arch patients do, and it's priced far lower in Colombia too. Grafting can add a healing stage and sometimes a third short visit depending on severity. This is exactly why we push for CT-based quotes before you book anything — so the number you plan around is the number you pay.
How do payments work?
Most clinics take cards and bank transfers, and many stage payments by treatment phase — you pay for trip one's work on trip one. Always get the itemized plan in writing first, and never wire a large deposit to anyone who won't put your full treatment plan on paper.

No pressure. Just numbers.
